Frank Duan has over 20 years of working experience both in United
States and China. He graduated from Tsinghua University in 1989. After
winning three design-to-commission competitions for his former employer in
Beijing, came to United States in 1990 for graduate school in Iowa State University. He
received a Master of Architecture Degree in 1993.
Prior to starting his own practice, he worked for large U.S. architectural firms
for ten years and worked on over forty large and small sizes projects,
including hospitality, resort, education, entertainment, restaurants,
theaters, sports facilities and medical centers.
He is the founding principal of the architectural firm Duan Corporation. The firm
has been providing services in five market sectors: Multiple Housing, Restaurants
and Strip Malls, Medical Clinics and Offices, Urban Design and Computer 3D
Rendering and Animation.
